Obama ...wins , "It's the economy..stupid"..again.

The results don't surprise me at all, because most of the polls predicted that all along, especially in the last month, after the fall of the markets, and the beginning of an American/International anxiety about the future of the world's economies.
Most American said in many exit polls, and on pre-elections polls that their most priority is the economy and jobs..This is why many Republicans, some conservatives, and lots of independents, voted for Obama more than any thing else..It was not terrorism, or Imperialism , or human values or human rights ....it was "the money" .
I have argued in the past that Obama is not my choice, neither McCain is. With my Democratic leanings, and more progressive views on things and issues , i was still hesitant to vote for Obama, for reasons i mentioned many times before.
Not only his lack of experience, but because the way he was made, which makes me unable to under strand how Americans think , but now i know, that people hated Bush so much, that they would have voted for a Democratic monkey, if ran against any republican candidate.
There are many things i would like to share with you about this historical (Being an African American) , yet not so impressive (Because of the timing and world conditions) victory of Obama:
1. Obama came in the right moment when American needed change so bad, Hillary would have met that need as well, or even Biden, 8 long years of Bush's stupidity was too much to deal with any more.
2. McCain paid for Bush's mistakes, since he was affiliated with him for being a republican.
3. People voted for economy, not for values or human rights ..again, and again , and again.
4. People Do like cool people , more than any thing else.
5. Being a non-populist puts you in a serious and critical position, because when every one tend to be following a "trend", and you start thinking why, and why should i do that without making my mind about issues and things, then people think you are strange, and weird. It's very true that i am so skeptic about many things, and my skepticism is increasing over years, because i just can't believe things the way it looks on the surface.
6. 1992 Clinton Campaign was right " It's the economy ...stupid".
Congratulations for Obama, and i hope he does a better job. I did not vote for him , and i did not vote for McCain either ..so , i will remain watching how things go.
I am watching the numbers of how many people voted for both candidates :
55 Millions for McCain ...47%
62 Millions for Obama ...52%
Does not that tell you something ?
